I am using VOIP and have a Gulfstream box, that is attached to my modem, from my internet phone provider. I diy installed my Vista 20p system about 12 years ago so its been a while. This is a multi-part thread with rapid fire questions at the end, so please bear with me. The D134 external relays that I installed now work like a charm for texting and emailing upon the alarm being triggered.

RADIONICS ALARM PANEL TRIAL
After some trial and error I successfully "received" the RELAYS record from the panel, saved it under a different name, then edited the parameters per the documentation, and lastly "sent" or loaded the updated RELAYS record to the panel.

Fortunately, the installer left the D2000 Program Entry Guide which contained all of the necessary parameters and a D2000 record sheet with pre-printed default installer code and passcode.
RADIONICS ALARM PANEL UPDATE
The Radionics D5200 Programmer Operations Manual provides details of the individual functions, but does not cover the overall flow of a system update process. Not one to be easily discouraged, the D5200 programmer I purchased had no Password installed, however, it appears that the Password is only used to prevent unauthorized use of the programmer, and the absence of the password did not prevent access to the programmer’s full functionality. I'm wondering if putting the panel's default passcode in the "U1passcode" record will allow access to the panel? Also, do I have to "Receive" the module record in the Programmer, and then "Replace" it, or does the handler update the actual record while in the "NewRecord function? Any advice would be appreciated as I don't want to ruin a perfectly working system. For example, the D5200 (new Programmer) password is blank, but I can access the correct handler and its modules (after activating the Standby switch), I just can't make an entry.

RADIONICS ALARM PANEL HOW TO
After installing a D134 relay board and acquiring what appears to be a newly-refurbished D5200 programmer with a D2212 handler installed, and becoming well-versed in its functions, I am unsure of how to logically 'connect' to the panel. I have developed a device that will text me when the alarm is triggered, but I need to update the panel's relay module record to utilize this feature. Unfortunately, the installing company was sold and the new company will not provide any service unless I have a monitoring contract, which I'm not interested in. I have a Radionics D2212B intrusion system that was installed in 2000, never had a monitoring service, and continues to work fine.
